"Max's is an iconic restaurant that has been around close to forever. It's a great place to get one of those. Really big hot dogs, like the windmill, except you can also get beer here. The grilled and fried foods are standard for this type of place and the quality is pretty much what you would expect. More than anything, it's an iconic place to visit."

"LONG BRANCH: Max's Bar and Grill piqued our attention after being featured on the TV show Kitchen Nightmares, which is surprising that they were even on the show because they have been a staple in the area for almost 100 years! 2028 will be their 100th anniversary! They are famous for their hot dogs, and they also have a full menu to please anyone's palette. A full bar and local beers complement the American-style menu and it is a spacious space to watch the game and meet people from all over the world! We met a couple visiting from Barcelona who were on their own tour of Bruce Springsteen history. Best of all, leashed and friendly dogs can join you inside and they are always pet friendly. Brie tip: take a photo with the awesome Long Branch, NJ mural on the front of the building."

"Best boardwalk style Hot Dogs! We started with a nice cold beer - I had blue moon and better half had Kona. For appetizer we shared fried zucchini with the horseradish sauce. It was hot, crunchy, and fresh. For the dogs, I had the Italian while he had the spicy jockey. They also have a kid's menu. Service was great! We have been customers for years and will continue."

"Long due review. I decided to write a review after recommending this place to a friend who will be traveling to NJ for vacations. I stopped by during my last visit to NJ and it was a pleasant surprise. At first I was disappointed that I wasn't able to make a reservation for a high end restaurant but, I ended up at Max's. OMG! I decided to stop at Max's for a "snack" and ended up having a great meal. Highly recommend!"

"Haven't been here since I was a kid, and wow, this is not the 1990's Max's anymore (though shoutout to 90's Max's, you have my heart). Food was very good, the band was great, and bonus: you can sit far enough back that you can actually hear yourself think if the music's too much. Kids loved their meals, my husband went full legend and ordered two hot dogs (respect), and my crispy chicken sandwich was roughly the size of a small car but way tastier. And our server? Zero filter in the most classic Central Jersey way. We loved her."

"Fui com minha amiga e gostei bastante. Agora e verao entao colocaram mesas , cadeiras e ate sofa do lado de fora. O ambiente e muito bonito e espacoso, o atendimento e otimo. As atendentes sao simpaticas e competentes. O acesso e otimo, perto da praia entao da pra sair da praia tomar um chopp . O chopp e gostoso eu tomei dois copos de Miller estava bem gelado."
